Our Promise
At Red Eye Exterior Cleaning, I believe a sparkling home shouldn’t come at the expense of the environment. That’s why I’ve built my business around being the most environmentally friendly window cleaner in the Twin Cities. I use the best eco friendly glass cleaner solutions and a five-stage pure water system to deliver streak-free results without harmful runoff. Every product I use is safe for your siding, soil, and Minnesota’s lakes and rivers. A portion of every job goes toward local waterway conservation efforts, so when you choose Red Eye, you're not just getting clean windows, you're supporting cleaner ecosystems too.
This is my promise: to offer a better way to clean, with care for your home, your health, and the natural world we all share.
How Red Eye makes a difference
Minnesota is known for its clean lakes, winding rivers, and iconic wildlife like the common loon. But those natural treasures are under real threat. According to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, more than half of the state’s surface waters are now considered impaired. The primary cause? Nonpoint source pollution — the kind that doesn’t come from factories, but from everyday places like rooftops, driveways, and lawns. That includes runoff from exterior cleaning.
At Red Eye Exterior Cleaning, I take that seriously. As an eco friendly window cleaner, I use biodegradable products and pure water methods to make sure your home stays clean without contributing to the problem. Because when you’re cleaning in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, protecting the water matters.
That’s why I started Red Eye Exterior Cleaning.
I use eco-safe methods that are designed to be effective without compromising the environment. Every cleaning solution is applied with care, using precise techniques that prevent runoff and protect nearby landscaping, soil, and water systems. That includes saturating surrounding plants with clean water before and after service, avoiding storm drains entirely, and applying all solutions at low pressure to keep everything exactly where it belongs.
When done right, exterior cleaning doesn’t have to harm the environment. But I’ve seen firsthand how larger companies often over-apply harsh products without proper safeguards, leading to damaged plants, polluted runoff, and long-term harm to local ecosystems. Red Eye exists to do things differently — with care, accountability, and a real commitment to protecting Minnesota’s natural beauty.

That’s why I do things differently.
-I follow strict runoff control practices and thoroughly rinse surrounding areas to minimize impact. I use soft washing techniques with targeted application to reduce waste, overspray, and unnecessary chemical use.
-I never allow cleaning agents to reach storm drains or natural water bodies.
-And I stay committed to learning — constantly improving my methods to reflect the latest in environmental safety and responsible stewardship.
But protecting the environment takes more than just good technique — it takes action.
That’s why a portion of every job supports Friends of the Boundary Waters, a nonprofit dedicated to defending Minnesota’s clean water, native species, and wild public lands. Their mission aligns with mine, and I’m proud to contribute to their work with every project I take on.
I named my company Red Eye after the red-eyed loon — not just because it’s iconic, but because it represents the natural heritage of Minnesota. One that deserves to be protected.
So when you choose Red Eye Exterior Cleaning, you're not just getting a cleaner home. You're helping protect the lakes, rivers, and wildlife that make Minnesota worth calling home.
